"At first glance, the Wave looks like any other traditional shoe, but look again at the profile view at the bottom of the photo... it says it all! For the flip pitch you have a thumb centering depression on top and on the bottom, the rear cleat is rotated 90 degrees so it will pull through your fingers easily for clean, catch-free release... perfect for those who flip a traditional shoe with the cleats down! For the turn pitcher, the weight near the tips is scrunched forward so you have an exteneded gripping area on the blades of the shoe and the edges are all very rounded promoting a smooth release. This shoe turns as well as it flips, so it's great for doubles play!"
